Animations
Developed by Professor Marshak to illustrate dynamic Earth processes, over sixty original animations emphasize plate tectonics, geological hazards, and earth systems science concepts. Approximately half of these animations are new to the Second Edition, and many are based on the groundbreaking “What A Geologist Sees” figures from the text.
Designed for use by instructors and students, animations can be enlarged to full-screen view for lecture display. VCR-like controls make it easy instructors to control the pace of the animation during lecture.
