The Norton Anthology of World Literature 2e

eMedia & Ancillaries for Students

New Updates

Students using The Norton Anthology of World Literature for Fall 2003 classes will have access to contextual materials that will enrich their reading and inform their interpretive work. A series of full-page, annotated color plates have been added to the anthology to help students draw connections between the text they are reading and the cultural and artistic milieu in which it was produced. Seven new online Discovery Modules combine editorial essays, images, discussion questions, and links to external sites to open up texts and themes in the anthology.

New! 48 Color Plates

In response to student and instructor feedback, the editors of The Norton Anthology of World Literature have carefully selected forty-eight beautiful and pedagogically useful pieces of artwork. Accompanied by extensive annotations, these unpaginated glossy inserts will be added to all new copies ordered for Fall 2003 classes, at no additional cost to the student. Each of the six volumes will contain 8 color plates, some of which will contain more than one image.

Instructors may request full-size pamphlets containing all 48 color plates. Contact your local Norton representative for more details.
