Flash Help

The Student Web site for Chemistry: The Science in Context
contains approximately 100 tutorials that require
version 6 (or higher) of the Flash plug-in. This is not an issue
if you are viewing the content from the browser running off the
CD.
If you are getting errors...
If you are having problems with the tutorials, then it is likely that you are
using your native browser rather than the pre-installed, pre-configured browser
provided on the Student CD-ROM. You will therefore need to obtain Flash
6 to view the animated tutorials.
Tutorial interface
- The stop button pauses the tutorial.
- The play button is used to continue playing the tutorial
after you have reached programmed pauses in the tutorial.
- The next and previous buttons take you to another
section of the tutorial. These sections are based around major
concepts within the tutorial, and may contain more than one screen.
Structure Tutorial interface
- Us the x, y, and z buttons to rotate the molecule
around the x-, y-, or z-axis.
- Clicking on the molecule causes it to rotate by "pushing"
on the point where you click.
